On Monday we drove to San Diego. We took the scenic route down the coast,
through Laguna Beach. Once we got to our
RV park, we set up our camper and had some lunch. Then, we drove through Mission Beach on our way to Point Loma to see Cabrillo
National Monument. It was a neat area, and
we could see quite a few Navy ships, planes and helicopters out on the
Ocean. The national monument had a
really cool lighthouse that we were able to tour. We also walked along some of the cliffs above
the water.
We made our way to Ocean Beach, where we had a few drinks
and some appetizers at a neat little bar/restaurant. Afterwards, we drove a short ways to Sunset
Cliffs where we sat on our towels and watched the sunset over the ocean. It was absolutely gorgeous!
