Six Flags Fiesta Texas, The Alamo, San Antonio Riverwalk (Tuesday)

Yesterday, we went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, which is right outside of San Antonio, TX.  It was a fairly small park, and fortunately it was not very busy.  We went on all of the rides that we wanted to (more than once) by about 3pm, so we left and went to see the Alamo.  My brother, Kristofer, loved Davy Crockett when we were little.  He had a fake raccoon hat, and we used to watch the video that we rented numerous times from the library and play "Davy Crockett."  That's all I could think of as we headed to the Alamo.  We toured the buildings and watched a short film on the Alamo.  It was an interesting place.

The Alamo is right near the San Antonio Riverwalk, so after we toured it, we walked around the walkways. What a cool place! We had dinner at a restaurant called "The Republic of Texas" and sipped on some delicious margaritas and sangria.  After dinner, we treated ourselves to some delicious ice cream in waffle cones.
