Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (Sunday)

We've decided that we are going on a Six Flags tour as we travel the country!   The season passes that get us into any Six Flags park were only $10 more than a regular ticket, so we thought, "Why not?!"
On Sunday we went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA.  We had a lot of fun, but it did not beat out our experience at Cedar Point in Ohio (we went there a few years ago).  It didn't have as many roller coasters, and I think that's probably why we liked Cedar Point better.  One very "exciting" thing happened while we were there.  There's a new ride at the park called "Superman."  We were in line for about an hour.  We were literally two people away from riding on the rollercoaster when it got stuck on the VERY TOP!  We were so thankful that we were not on the coaster when it got stuck.  The people were stuck at the top for two hours, and the people at the park did not know how to get them down.  We were told that the workers didn't even know that the coaster getting stuck at the top was possible.  The fire department was called to get the people down because the park didn't know how.  That would have been scary!

The park has a lot of animals as well.  We got to see dolphins, penguins, and a killer whale show.  We had a great time!  We plan to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA tomorrow (Thursday).

Waiting in line for a ride

Just waiting...

A dolphin!

The ride we were very excited about!

Then it got stuck (see those people at the top?)

Shouka!

He was beautiful

And, he had quite a few tricks up his sleeve.
