Yosemite National Park (Monday)

Yosemite National Park... beautiful! On day one, we admitted that it rivaled Glacier National Park (which we thought we would like the most).  We hiked a long strenuous trail to Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls.  It was extremely steep with a lot of stone stairs.  To say the least, by the time we got down, our legs were very tired!  The hike was about 7.5 miles round trip, and it was very hot!  Water is very important at this park!  When we got to Vernal Falls, we hiked (well, maybe climbed) down the boulders to the bottom of the waterfall.  We were soaked from the mist (that's why some of our pictures may seem spotty - the mist got on the lense), but it was so cool!  Once we got to the top of Nevada Falls, we were tired and hot.  We went swimming in an area of pooled water.  It was refreshing and a fun experience!

Look at those stairs... and that isn't the worst part!

Do you see Patrick in the picture? (white shirt)

One of my new favorite pictures (at Vernal Falls)!

Had to get a pic of both of us... with our handy tripod!
