Grand Teton National Park - Day 1 (Saturday)

Well, we drove 7 hours today from Devil's Tower, on the eastern edge of Wyoming, to Grand Teton National Park, on the western edge of the state.  The drive didn't seem too bad, but if you ever decide to drive through Wyoming, get gas in any large cities you come by.  The gas stations are very few and far between (no, we did not run out of gas... just something we observed)!  We arrived at a campground right outside of the eastern entrance to Grand Teton National Park around 2:30 this afternoon.  We set up Colby (what we've decided to name the Coleman camper) and we were off to hike a short trail on the banks of Jackson Lake.  BEAUTIFUL... one of the most beautiful places we've ever been.

 Quite a view!

The lake was cold!

Jackson Lake is so pristine
