Seattle (Sunday)

We made it to Seattle, after an 11 hour drive.Whew, we drove each other a little bit crazy, but as soon as we got out of the car, all was better again. I think we were both just sick of the car! J That was the longest drive we've done so far.We set up our camper, had some dinner, did a little reading, and headed to sleep. We woke up on Sunday and actually got dressed and ready for the day in something other than workout clothes! We went to a church in a suburb of Seattle, then headed into the city for the afternoon and evening. When researching what we should do in Seattle, we came across the CITYpass. You pay a one-time fee and get tickets into a bunch of attractions in the city.We were glad we purchased it because it gave us direction for our days, and we got to see a lot!We started the afternoon with a trip up the Space Needle. It's definitely a must for Seattle because it is such an iconic building. Then, we headed over to the Pacific Science Center, which was a very short walk.It had some neat exhibits! They have an IMAX theater and were showing the new Spider Man movie in 3D, so we got discounted tickets for it with our CITYpass. We had some time between touring the science center and the movie so we went to a sports bar on a corner by the Space Needle… delicious! Then, we walked back over to the science center to watch the movie.Watching it on that screen with the speakers was awesome!!!It was the biggest screen I have ever seen! After the movie, at about 10:30, we went back to the Space Needle to view Seattle from up there at night. The view was even better at night!
